Up until this point Google Voice Search was only available in English. No more! The search giant has updated its service with support for three new languages: French, German and Japanese.
The new capability works on both iOS and Android-based devices though in the former case you first need to install the Google Search app to take advantage of voice based searches.
And that’s just a start. Google’s blog post ends with a promise that new languages will be added in the future. Unfortunately no dates were mentioned, though we’ll make sure to let you know as soon as we hear something new on this. Stay tuned in the meantime…
