The recently leaked Oppo R1 has been caught in the wild in a series of photos. As you may remember from our previous post, this will be one awesome mid-range device with both solid specs and great price.

According to GizChina, the R1 will rock an 8-megapixel f2.0 camera on the back, making it one of the best mid-end shooters out there. MediaTek’s MT6589 quad-core chip will provide the processing power needed to run things smoothly, and the second SIM card slot will allow users to connect to two different networks at once. In addition, the R1 will come in all-glass body with anti-fingerprint coating, which is a novel thing in this price range.

The rumor goes on suggesting that Oppo will launch the new phone by the end of the year asking some 2,000 Yuan (about $340) for the unlocked device. It remains to be seen whether the Chinese company will bring the R1 to the West. As far as I can tell, it would sell like hot cupcakes these days; what do you say? Check out the gallery below and drop us your two cents afterwards. 😉
