Qualcomm will be all about its Snapdragon technology at this year’s CES. Even before the big show has started, the chip maker unveiled a series of videos to showcase three camera features that will be enabled by the upcoming Snapdragon 805 SoC. The three technologies unveiled are Chroma Flash, Action Shot and OptiZoom.
ChromaFlash allows the camera to simultaneously take a flash and a non-flash version of the same subject, and combine these two images to improve the quality of flash photography.
The Action shot enables seamless object tracking, even allowing users to set a line on the screen, with smartphone automatically starting recording once the object crosses that line.
Finally, the OptiZoom lets users lock onto objects, and automatically zoom in and out on them, even if these objects are moving.
Pretty powerful stuff I would say, what do you think?
