ASUS has started rolling out Android 4.3 update for its huge phablet, Fonepad 7. Originally unveiled at last year’s Mobile World Congress, this is basically a 7-inch tablet that can make phone calls.
Now it’s getting the new goodies, including improved video player and image gallery, Gallery Home Front, along with some other UI improvements.
ASUS didn’t officially announced the update, and we’ve found out about it from the good folks of GSMarena. The new software should be readily waiting for all Fonepad 7 owners, though we can’t confirm that. You can, however, hop over to Settings and find out whether there’s some firmware waiting for download.
Hopefully, the story of Fonepad won’t end here, and we’ll see ASUS quickly following up with the Android 4.4 Kitkat update…
