Yeah, yeah… Meizu is coming to the West. But we expected them to announce some carrier deal; instead the Chinese firm has teamed-up with online retailer Lightinthebox to sell unlocked devices to users all around the world.
Things could change later in the year, and in the meantime if you crave to get your hands on the still-hot Meizu MX3, you can grab it sans any strings attached for $429.99. And then use it on compatible networks.
It is said that Amazon.com may also join Meizu’s distribution efforts in the U.S. though exact date when (or if) that will happen is still unknown.
As you may know, the MX3 is still one of the best phones on the planet. It has all the latest bells and whistles, and we’re looking forward to see it hitting various Western markets in the next few months. And then to get the MX4 afterwards. Sounds like a plan, right?
