T-Mobile Putting on Macklemore Concert After CEO Got Kicked Out of AT&T’s at CES

T-Mobile’s CEO John Legere continues his mission to become the coolest CEO ever by announcing that T-Mobile will sponsor a special performance by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis in Los Angeles. The event will occur on January 23rd, and tickets will go on sale tomorrow, January 17th.

Legere was one of the bad boys of CES 2014, when he crashed an AT&T party at which Macklemore and Ryan Lewis were performing. A journalist Tweeted a picture of Legere at the party, and AT&T was instantly alerted and ejected Legere from the party. Of course, this only added fuel to Legere’s fire when he unveiled T-Mobile’s UnCarrier 4 .0 plans the next day and unabashedly took the piss out of AT&T at T-Mobile’s press conference.

So Macklemore fans, you have John Legere and T-Mobile to thank for your concert next week. Enjoy!
