HTC One owners across the globe have been receiving the Android 4.4 update, and now it’s our turn. HTC One owners in the U.S. will be receiving the update soon, as all major carriers are vetting the release for compatibility, or certification, which puts the update one step away from hitting your HTC One device.
So far, Developer Editions, Google Editions and unlocked variants of the HTC One have received Android 4.4 KitKat. AT&T, Verizon, Sprint and T-Mobile HTC One updates are still in the certification phase, and the AT&T HTC One mini, Sprint HTC One Max and Verizon HTC One max are still in the integration phase.
