HTC is gearing towards officially announcing the M8, successor to its One flagship smartphone.

We’ve heard a number of rumors about it in the past and today, we’re glad to confirm that it will indeed rock a pair of cameras on the back. Chances are one of them relies on the Ultrapixel technology and the other, well – it could be used to make even better photos, or perhaps enable some cool effects like 3D. We’re not really sure.

What we do (think we) know is that this model will boast on-screen buttons on its 5-inch screen, the fact that won’t make it bigger than the original HTC One (despite having a bigger display). We’ve also heard it will sport Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad-core chip and may be announced in March. More to come, obviously.
