Is this the Huawei Ascend P7?

We’ve heard that Huawei is working on a successor to its popular Ascend P6 smartphone and as far as we (don’t) know, it could be announced at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.

Today, we’re glad to show you how this phone will look like. First we have a render of the Ascend P7 that you can see from the image above; and then the phone’s back, which you can see below this text.

The design is, as expected, very similar to the Ascend P6, featuring simple lines and metallic body. Inside, this thing should rock a newer (than P6) quad-core chip, 5-inch full HD screen, 2GB of RAM, LTE connectivity support (in some markets), 13-megapixel camera on the back, 8-megapixel front-facing camera and a ton of internal storage that is expandable with microSD cards. All said, we expect the P7 to emerge as one of the best-selling phones in its category, with Huawei likely asking around $400 for the unlocked, SIM-free unit. We’ll see…
