Samsung Galaxy Note 3 owners on Sprint’s network will be receiving Android 4.4 KitKat soon, as the update has begun its OTA rollout straight from Sprint’s servers. The update brings the latest version of Android to the hefty Galaxy Note 3, which brings some TouchWiz improvements along with it. The update is a pretty big one, weighing in at 503.6MB. Full changelog follows below.

  • Android 4.4
  • Music album art on the lock screen
  • Launcher selection in settings
  • Camera shortcut on lock screen
  • Improved user interface and stability
  • Prevention pop-up removal

Keep an eye out for the update notification on your Note 3, and make sure you’re connected to WiFi before downloading so you don’t eat up all of your precious allotted data. If you’re like me and hate waiting, you can always manually check for the update on your Note 3 by opening up the Settings menu and heading to About phone and Software Update.

Let us know how you like it!
