Samsung just announced the Samsung Galaxy S5 at MWC in Barcelona, and HTC has spared no time in attacking the device in a new marketing campaign. HTC is set to unveil the successor to 2013’s HTC One on March 25th, so the timing couldn’t have been better for HTC. The new tagline reads: “Buyer’s remorse: Coming soon to S5 owners.” That’s it, short and sweet.
From leaks and rumors we’ve seen so far, HTC’s next device is set to be a beast, carrying on the design aesthetics of the HTC One. Known in rumors for months as the M8, the launch name of HTC’s 2014 flagship is still up for interpretation. We’ve heard mention the names HTC One Two, The All New One and HTC One+. Thanks to HTC’s new tweets, it looks like the device will be named the HTC One Up. Both tweets include the #HTCOneUp hashtag, and the second tweet reads, “Hope they’re ready to be One-upped.”
We’ll have to wait and see just what HTC has in store for us on March 25th.
