The Oppo Find 7 could be touting a 50MP camera, according to a leaked image supposedly taken with the device. That would put the Android powered smartphone at the top of the list when it comes to MP packed in a smartphone, outpacing the incredible Nokia Lumia 1020 which houses a 41MP snapper in its chassis.
While the leaked image appears to be just another snapshot, the EXIF data and resolution tell the bigger story. The picture has a resolution of 8160 x 6120, with the Oppo Find 7 being named as the camera that took the picture in the EXIF data. Sound crazy? Not really, considering the impressive spec sheet that the Oppo Find 7 reportedly touts.
According to the most recent rumors, the Oppo Find 7 will be unveiled on March 19th and is expected to come in two different versions, one with a full 5 inch HD screen and another with a 5.5 inch QHD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The device will rock the Snapdragon 801 SoC which is the hottest processor on the block right now.
So, 50MP camera? We’ll have to wait and see for sure when Oppo unveils the Find 7 on March 19th.
