Although the Galaxy S5 won’t come with wireless charging capabilities out of box, users will be able to add this feature by getting a separate cover.
These covers already got their pages at Sammy’s website from where we get to learn about different kinds of cases that will be available soon. At the moment, the site lists only black and white charging cases, and you get to choose between a “standard” back plate with a Qi charging module or an S-View Flip Cover model.
All four covers come with the gasket to keep the S5’s water-resistance intact. Moreover, with all of them, you will be able to use just about any Qi-compatible wireless charger out there, including the one Samsung is selling.
Finally, before I let you go, lemme add that this is likely just a beginning and that soon enough, additional color options will be released.
