While we wait for HTC to announce the mini version of its All New One smartphone, the rumors about this phone keep coming in. The latest story comes from Taiwan, saying that the petite One M8 will hit HTC’s home turf in May. This, coincidently, goes in line with what we’ve heard before – that HTC One M8 mini will indeed be launched at that time.
It is said that this model will pack a 4.5-inch 720p HD screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core chip clocked at 1.7GHz, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. Furthermore, HTC will dump Ultrapixel camera for a regular 13-megapixel shooter on the back, while the software side will remain unchanged, which means Android 4.4 KitKat with Sense 6.0 UI.
All said, we expect this smaller One to sell like hot cupcakes; though we must add that we would love it to have at least 1.5GB of RAM rather than just a gig…
