Vivo keeps teasing us with new features its upcoming phone, Xshot, will have. The latest information they released via Weibo (and brought to our attention by PhoneArena) talks about this phone’s powerful camera. From what we can tell, this will be the best camera phone ever, boasting a powerful 24-megapixel sensor, f/1.8 aperture, dual-LED flash and Optical Image Stabilization. In comparison, the Nokia Lumia 1020’s camera has an f/2.2 aperture and Sony Xperia Z2 has an f/2.0 aperture.
In addition, it seems that the Xshot will be able to record 3D clips, as well as videos in 4K resolution. Its front-facing camera will have a rather unusual 7.68-megapixel sensors; while rest of the specs will include a full HD or 2K screen (we’re hoping for the latter), Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 quad-core chip, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of internal storage.
Unfortunately, Vivo has yet to share its global plans, and as far as we (don’t) know, this model may never hit the Western hemisphere. You’ll always be able to get it from some importer, though.
