Just the other day we’ve told you about CompareMyMobile‘s survey results involving the Samsung Galaxy S5. Now we have the HTC One M8 figures.

According to the same company’s findings, 46.18% of HTC One (M8) upgraders were trading in an old HTC device, 23.74% – an old Apple device, and 21.29% were trading in an old Samsung device. More precisely, 13.24% of all people upgrading to the M8 were trading in their old HTC One, around 7% – an iPhone 5, and almost 8% were trading in a Galaxy S4.

As you can see for yourself, HTC’s new flagship is mainly attracting loyal HTC users, whereas over a third of people upgrading to the Samsung Galaxy S5 were previously iPhone owners. Overall, HTC’s trade-in market share has grown from 7.51% before the HTC One M8 release to 10.02% in the month following the launch.
