Amazon must be days away from the official announcement of its very first smartphone. After all, we’ve got most of the details and have even seen the device from those “in the wild” photos. Plus, we’ve heard it will be offered with a special Prime plan from AT&T. And now we have the first press image render to show you, again compliments to BGR which has uncovered details about Amazon’s phone in the past.

The image shows a rather simplistic design that somehow reminds us on the Nexus 4. We also see where those infrared cameras will be located — one in each corner — to enable various 3D effects.

On the left side, there’s a volume toggle, SIM card slot, and another button which could be used to turn the phone on and off. A micro USB port is at the bottom. All other details should be known shortly…
