It’s no secret that Xiaomi is working on the successor to its Mi3 smartphone and that such device will be officially announced in the next few weeks. Now that we have the first leaked photos, we tend to think the launch is pretty much imminent.

These photos, in case you wonder, come from a Weibo account which has been taken down in the meantime, suggesting there’s some merit in this rumor and that this is really the upcoming Mi3S.

From what we’ve heard before, the Mi3S will come with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 801 quad-core chip clocked at 2.5Ghz. This is the same processor used by Samsung and HTC in their flagship devices, Galaxy S5 and One M8, respectively. The rest of the specs will reportedly include 3GB of RAM, 13-megapixel rear camera and 8-megapixel front-facing one for making perfect selfies.

Yup, Xiaomi has another winner at hand. Can’t wait to try it out. 😉
