Samsung Galaxy Mega with 7-inch screen to launch as Galaxy W in South Korea?

Roughly a month ago we’ve told you that Samsung is working on a biggest yet member of the Galaxy Mega family. The upcoming 7-inch model marked as SM-T2558 may be heading to South Korea where it will be known as Galaxy W.

A leaked brochure caught by the savvy folks of SamMobile suggests this everything-but-portable device will boast a “Phoneblet UX” with landscape mode and split-screen function, which is also known as Multi-Window. The SM-T2558 will boast a Galaxy Note 3-like faux leather back, and initially be offered by SK Telecom.

Specs wise, this won’t be a high-end device – it will pack a 720p HD screen, 1.2GHz quad-core chip (likely Qualcomm Snapdragon 400), 1.5GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front cameras, and just 8GB of expandable storage. As I’m writing this, we’ve no idea whether Samsung will ever bring the Galaxy Mega 7.0 to the West. Chances are some markets in Europe will get it, though.
