A new, still unannounced Oppo smartphone has been caught at the FCC, and we tend to believe this could be the earlier rumored N1 mini.

Marked as Oppo N5116, it looks very much like the “regular” N1 phablet, but it’s a bit smaller; not too smaller though.

Instead of a 5.9-inch full HD screen, this unit has a 5-inch 720p HD display, and also a smaller battery with capacity of 2140 mAh. The unique swivel camera remained on place all with a 13-megapixel sensor.

Unfortunately, we’ve no idea what Oppo plans to do with the N1 mini. We know it’s heading to China, but we’re not sure it will also sell in the Western hemisphere. Considering that the current Oppo N1 is available in its unlocked form all around the world, chances are the N1 mini will follow suit, as well. We’ll let you know when the Chinese company officially launches this phone. Stay tuned…
