Good news for owners of the HTC One (M7) with AT&T’s contract – your beloved smartphone is about to get Sense 6 update, according to a tweet from HTC executive Mo Versi.

The new software should arrive “early” this week, meaning that some users may be getting the goodies as we speak. As that’s usually the case with these sort of things, not all folks will be served at once. Nevertheless, we expect that every single owner of AT&T’s HTC One (M7) will get the new software in the next few days.

The news comes on the heels of Verizon Wireless and Sprint announcing the same thing for their own versions of the HTC One (M7).

As for what to expect, there are many things included in this release such as further BlinkFeed enhancements with restaurant recommendations from Twitter and Foursquare, updated Gallery app, changes to widget and app shortcuts, the Emergency Alert app preloaded and, perhaps most important, improved Wi-Fi connectivity.

All in all, you should tap that “Update” button the second you’re prompted to do so. 😉
