The earlier rumored Samsung Galaxy Mega 7.0 has been leaked by a case maker and brought to our attention by the good folks of GSMarena.
As you can see from the image above, this is one big device which will have hard time finding buyers among the “classic smartphone buyers.” Sure, it’s thinner than most tablets, but is that enough to replace your existing phone? I don’t think so, except if you don’t mind carrying your primary phone in a bag or purse and rely on a Bluetooth headset to handle phone calls at all times.
It is said that users in Asia dig phablets and perhaps they end-up appreciating the Mega 7.0. As for the rest of us, we’ll avoid buying one of these.
Samsung is holding a press event on June 12 when we’ll see the new Galaxy Tab S series unveiled. Perhaps at that time, we also get to meet the Galaxy Mega 7.0, perhaps not. We’ll see…
