The earlier rumored 64GB Moto X has been officially announced, and just like we said it before – it will cost $100 more than the 16GB model. You get to choose between multiple variants that sing on AT&T, T-Mobile (unlocked), Sprint and Republic Wireless; Verizon Wireless users will have to settle with 32GB of internal storage.

Moto X’s lack of a microSD card slot was a dealbreaker for some users but with 64GB of internal storage even these folks should be happy. Besides, you can always keep those photos in some cloud service.

Alongside the new version of Moto X, the company has also unveiled a one-day promotion that allows users to try a custom Moto X for two weeks. This scheme kicks off at 11PM CT on Sunday June 8th, and will let you design and order a Moto X and pay just $0.01 up-front. The device is shipped out and you get to play with it for up to two weeks. Then if you like it, you pay Motorola the agreed upon price and keep the phone. Plus, you get to benefit from a 30% off promo code to spend on accessories. Or if you don’t like it, box it up and send it back to Motorola, no questions asked.

Pretty sweet, but you gotta be quick if you want to take advantage of this try-before-you-buy program.
