LG keeps launching new phones left and right. Truth to be told, many of these devices are not really great, but they do find their customers, nevertheless.
Take the newly unveiled LG L60 as an example; it’s a low-to-mid end product by any stretch of imagination, yet we’re sure it will help LG’s bottom line.
Said phone comes with a 4.3-inch WVGA screen, 1.3GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, HSPA+ connectivity, dual SIM capability and 4GB of expandable storage. In addition, the L60 also rocks two cameras, 5-megapixel main one with flash, and VGA front-facing camera. The good thing is that Android 4.4 KitKat is running the show..
We know this phone will be available in Russia and likely few other countries in Eastern Europe. Chances are it won’t “make it” to North America, or perhaps some carrier will launch it under a different name. Not that we necessarily want one of these… But hey, not everyone needs the latest bells and whistles, and LG wants to serve just about any potential smartphone customer out there.
Anyhow, the LG L60 comes in black and white colors, and if we hear that one of the top U.S. carriers gets to sell it, we’ll get back to you with additional information. In the meantime, there’s other stuff to read at IntoMobile. 😉
