Apple is done with its announcements and now it’s time for other handset makers to react. Why they react in the first place is beyond me — they just prove Apple is worth responding to — but that’s the way things are.
Samsung unveiled a set of stupid videos and now it’s time for Asus to “do its thing.”
However, instead of saying the iPhone 6 is a bad device, the Taiwanese company is pointing out the obvious – it’s expensive. In fact, they claim that for the price of a single iPhone 6, users can by (up to) 6 ZenFones, one for every member of the (wider?) family.
“Which 6 is better – six ZenFones for the whole family, or one apple for yourself?,” Asus’ Facebook post is noting.
While Asus makes some cool tablets as well as the PadFone, they still have to come up with a high-end smartphone. Why they keep “avoiding” this market is anyone’s guess. Moreover, it’s also not clear why they don’t bring back the ever-handy keyboard dock for the PadFone. The Taiwanese company is moving in “mysterious ways,” to say the least.
Meanwhile, the sales of their ZenFones seem to going well. Said device is available in few different version, with screen sizes ranging from 4- to 6-inches. The price of these low- to mid-range units starts at around $100, depending on the model.
