Samsung is apparently working on an updated version of the Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet, PhoneArena is reporting.
The 2015 Edition of the device has popped up on the Korean company’s website, appearing in descriptions of Samsung’s WatchON, Galaxy 11 Shooting Shooter and Galaxy 11 Cannon Shooter pages.
Presuming such product is indeed in the pipeline, it will build on top of this year’s model that came with a 2560 x 1600 pixels Super Clear LCD screen, S Pen stylus and Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset. We would assume the next-gen tablet will include a faster processor under the hood — Sammy’s own Exynos 7 Octa or Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 — and perhaps a Super AMOLED screen and 4GB of RAM. Moreover, we would expect this model to be unveiled either at the upcoming CES in Las Vegas or MWC in Barcelona.
For the time being, we’ll be on the lookout for additional leaks and get back to you as soon as we have something new to add. Is there a specific feature you would want to see in the Galaxy Note 10.1 2015 Edition?
