OnePlus may be working on a dual-SIM device. As far as we (don’t) know, it could be the company’s next flagship device — the earlier rumored OnePlus Two — or just a dual-SIM version of the existing OnePlus One.
The rumor, in case you wonder, started from o OnePlus promotional video depicting a device that seems to support two SIM cards and also has a microSD card slot. The latter doesn’t come included with the regular OnePlus One, so this is definitely something new.
Earlier we’ve heard that OnePlus’ next flagship will come with a Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) screen, at least 2GB of RAM (if not 3GB), 16-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front-facing camera, while Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 805 chip will provide the processing power needed to run things smoothly. Or that could be the 64-bit Snapdragon 810?
The way I see things, OnePlus would be foolish not to release a dual-SIM variant of its next device. This capability is considered must-have in the world’s biggest smartphone markets, India and China, with users from other parts of the planet also craving for something similar (so they could use one device for both business and personal needs).
So, who wants a dual-SIM OnePlus device? 😉
