OPPO F35 series may land in India just in time for festive season shopping

OPPO might be about to make a lot of noise right before India’s biggest shopping season kicks off. According to 91mobiles, tipster Debayan Roy has suggested the OPPO F35 series is headed to India around late August or the first week of September. That’s not a random window. It puts the launch right ahead of Flipkart’s Big Billion Days and Amazon’s Great Indian Festival, two of the biggest smartphone sales events of the year. Smart timing, if it holds.

The F35 series will follow the OPPO F33 lineup, which launched in India back in April 2026. The F33 started at Rs 31,999, while the F33 Pro came in at Rs 37,999. That means OPPO could be refreshing this lineup in under five months, which is a fast turnaround. Whether that’s because the F33 series wasn’t a massive hit or because OPPO just wants fresh inventory before the festive rush, we don’t know yet. Probably both.

Specs for the F35 series are still under wraps, but expect OPPO to stay in the upper mid-range zone. That segment is crowded and competitive right now. Vivo, Motorola, OnePlus, and iQOO are all fighting for the same wallets, and every one of them will have something shiny on shelves come festive season. OPPO needs to show up with a strong price-to-performance story to cut through.

Now, about the Find X9s Pro. Roy also hinted it could come to India, but he was upfront about the uncertainty here. One source apparently confirmed it, but two others said the launch is not confirmed. That’s not a tip, that’s a coin flip. Treat it as a rumour until OPPO says otherwise.

For context, the Find X9s already launched in India in May alongside the Find X9 Ultra, starting at Rs 79,999. The Indian version of the Find X9s has a 6.59-inch AMOLED display and a large 7,025mAh battery, which differs from the China-only model. The Find X9s Pro sits above that in the lineup, so if it does arrive, it’ll be priced higher. But again, nothing confirmed.

Here’s what actually matters for most buyers right now:

  • The OPPO F35 series is the launch to watch if you’re shopping in the Rs 30,000 to Rs 40,000 range
  • The festive season timing means there could be launch offers or bank discounts attached
  • The Find X9s Pro is a rumour at this stage, not a confirmed launch
  • Anyone eyeing the flagship should wait for official word before getting excited

The broader picture here is that India’s festive season has become the most important few weeks on the calendar for smartphone brands. Everyone wants to launch something new right before Big Billion Days, because shoppers are already in buying mode. OPPO clearly knows this. The F35 series, if it launches on time, will have a solid shot at grabbing attention from buyers who want something premium-feeling without crossing into flagship territory. That’s a real opportunity, and OPPO has pulled it off before with the F series. Whether the F35 can do it again depends entirely on what they’re actually putting inside the box.
