Poco F9 Ultra specs and pricing leak ahead of official launch

Poco has never been shy about punching above its weight class, and the F9 Ultra looks like it wants to continue that tradition in a big way. According to a fresh leak reported by Gadgets360, the Poco F9 Ultra’s pricing, design, and storage options have surfaced online well before any official word from the company. That kind of pre-launch exposure usually means a release is closer than you think.

The leaks have been building for a while now. Both the Poco F9 Ultra and Poco F9 Pro were spotted on multiple certification sites back in late July, and by early August the Poco X8 5G joined them in passing SDPPI certification, which is Indonesia’s telecoms regulator. Certification trails like this are about as close to a confirmed launch as you get without an actual press release. And now, European pricing and full specifications have leaked too, which suggests a global rollout is very much in the cards.

So what are we actually looking at here? Based on what’s tipped so far, the F9 Ultra is shaping up to be Poco’s most serious flagship attempt yet. The leaks point to multiple storage configurations, a bold design refresh, and specs that put it firmly in competition with phones costing significantly more. Poco has always positioned itself as the brand for people who want top-tier performance without the top-tier price tag, and if these numbers hold up, the F9 Ultra fits that brief well.

The significance of European pricing leaking specifically is worth paying attention to. Poco has been steadily expanding its footprint outside of Asia, and a European launch would mark a real push into a market where brand recognition still has room to grow. If the price-to-spec ratio is as aggressive as the leaks suggest, that could genuinely turn heads among budget-conscious buyers who are tired of compromising.

Here’s a quick look at what the leaks have pointed to so far for the F9 Ultra:

  • Multiple storage options, likely starting at 256GB
  • A redesigned rear panel with a fresh visual identity
  • High-end chipset placement, competing in the upper-mid to flagship tier
  • Pricing positioned to undercut rivals at similar spec levels in European markets
  • Global availability looking increasingly likely based on certification activity

None of this is confirmed yet, and leaks can get details wrong. But the pattern here, certifications in multiple regions, European pricing surfacing, consistent spec rumors, is hard to ignore. This isn’t a phone that’s quietly slipping into a single market. Poco seems to be planning something broader.

For anyone who’s been watching the mid-range and upper-mid smartphone space, the timing makes sense. Competitors have been creeping their prices upward, and there’s a real gap for a brand willing to go hard on specs without inflating the cost. Poco has filled that gap before. The F9 Ultra looks like its next attempt to do it again, and based on what’s leaked, it might actually deliver.
