
With the recently released Xpress Music phones from Nokia, No. 2 Samsung is going to have to bust out the heavy guns to compete in the musicphone segment. Enter the Samsung SGH-F330 slider that was unveiled at the IFA 2007 conference. Not only does this tri-band (900/1800/1900Mhz) handset rock UMTS on the 2100Mhz band (with 3.6Mbps HSDPA), it’s got the killer looks that only a sleek, mirrored finish can pull off. Seriously, if you want a bit of sliding “bling” with your music phone, then the Samsung F330 is for your. The measly 20MB of internal memory are redeemed by the 2 megapixel shooter, front-facing video-call cam, FM radio, microSD slot (with 20MB onboard, it certainly better have an expansion slot), and of course the HSDPA radio.
The biggest draw on this phone has got to be the shine-tastic styling. We love the slider form-factor and the mirror finish. If only it had some more onboard memory…
