Here’s an app every traveller, not just folks who travel frequently, will find useful. It’s called SuperShuttle and as you can guess, it’s designed to make booking a ride to and from the airport as simple as possible.
Before clicking the button, you can get a fare quote and if you find some other transport in the meantime, you are free to cancel right from the app — though I believe there are some penalties for last minute cancellations.
Let’s say you opted to order the shuttle, but where’s the van? Tap the “Where’s My Van?” button and see it on a map. Love it for being that easy. 🙂
Finally, there’s an incentive involved to use the app – Summer Lift program, featuring family discounts with five dollar rides and double airline miles on SuperShuttle. The company’s airline partners include Delta Airlines SkyMiles, Frontier Airlines EarlyReturns, United Airlines Mileage Plus and or US Airways Dividend Miles programs. In other words, you could win 100 airline miles earned on round-trip fares all summer.
SuperShuttle serves 33 airports, including Los Angeles, New York, Dallas/Ft. Worth, Washington, D.C. and Miami.
