As you may know from our previous posts, Handmark is on a mission to “mobile-ize” as many media companies as possible using its Mobile Publishing Platform. Their new client is Penton Media, a B2B media company behind a variety of publications spanning industries like food retailing, business technology and IT, engineering, electronics, government, compliance and more.
The upcoming mobile applications will support a personalized branded experience for Penton’s media properties, and will be available on all popular platforms, including iPhone, BlackBerry, Android, Windows Mobile and Nokia (S60 5th Edition) devices.
Supermarket News, the leading news source for the food retail industry, is the first Penton Media property to launch a mobile application, which is available now as a free download across all the major mobile platforms by texting “SupermarketNews” to 46275 or visiting www.supermarketnews.com/mobile.
We’ve no idea which Penton apps come next, but I’ve no doubt Handmark will inform us when they’re out with a second title. Stay tuned…
