Good ol’ HTC keeps updating and tweaking its devices like all the time, and we love them for doing so. Their latest move is to fix some SMS-related bug found in the Sense UI. In their own words the hotfix “amends the internal management of SMS functionality, and enhances SMS transmission stability.”
HTC Touch Pro2 (ROM version 2.08.XX) and HD Mini (ROM 1.36.XX) are affected and as always we advise proceed, and in general to keep your devices up to date and as bug free as possible. Hence, visit these two pages to grab the hotfix for your device: TouchPro 2, HD Mini.
Make sure to backup your data prior to clicking any buttons. Although nothing bad should happen after the update, it’s a good practice to have your data both on your phone and your computer…
