If you’re itching to get a new Chrevrolet but don’t have time to mill around the showrooms, you’re in luck because the company has released an app for the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.

The Chrevrolet Showroom app allows users to view the lineup of cars and trucks. You’ll also be able to check out the different interiors you can get.

There’s also location-based services, as you can find the nearest dealership and you can also save recently-viewed cars.

“The Chevrolet Showroom app allows customers to shop nearly anywhere and share their virtual vehicle with their friends,” said Jim Campbell, U.S. vice president, Chevrolet Marketing, in a prepared statement. “This is a natural addition to the ways people shop online for vehicles today.”

This isn’t anything too crazy or innovative but it could be a useful app for Chevrolet fans. It’s also a good sign to see these companies understand the importance of mobile apps.
