iPhone Dev Team announces the free iPhone v1.1.1 software unlocking solution!

AnySim v1.1 for unlocking iPhone v1.1.1 Following on iPhoneSIMfree’s recently released unlocking software for the iPhone v1.1.1 firmware, the intrepid iPhone Dev Team has just released their own unlocking solution for iPhones with the most recent v1.1.1 firmware.

AnySim v1.1 is the one and only free unlocking solution for the iPhone v1.1.1. The hack works only with previously unlocked (virgin, if you will) iPhones, both v1.0.2 and v1.1.1 firmwares are compatible. So, if you’ve held off on unlocking your iPhone’s baseband radio, AnySim v1.1 is a fairly compelling reason to check out any non-AT&T GSM carrier.

Keep in mind, if you unlock you iPhone v1.0.2 and update to v1.1.1, you’ll end up with a nice, shiny iBrick. But, as long as you get your iPhone updated to v1.1.1, the AnySim v1.1 unlock will work just fine. Just make sure and avoid and future updates.

Grab AnySim v1.1 here.
