Does anyone know the origin of the Hello Kitty name? Could the name just as easily have been, “Greetings Feline?” What’s with the cat?
Anyway, the Hello Kitty touchscreen mobile phone seems to be a huge hit with some of our readers (we’re guessing they’re of the female persuasion…call it a hunch), so we thought they’d appreciate seeing this Hello Kitty-branded mobile phone from OKWAP.
The Hello Kitty OKWAP C150T isn’t all that bad looking. It rocks a slightly pink color scheme with “Hello Kitty” themed artwork covering every face of the phone – and the touchscreen-based UI is decked out in pink and red, and makes liberal use of the little “Hello Kitty” cat. Interestingly, the Hello Kitty OKWAP 150T uses a touch-sensitive navigation pad in favor of a traditional keypad – just like the OKWAP 150 that this thing is based on. And check out the center of that navigation dial – the little “Hello Kitty” face illuminates from underneath with pink LEDs.
