Evernote has recently updated its iOS client for the iPhone/iPod Touch and iPad users. There are two major improvements in the version 3.3.8:
- Improved Premium offline notebooks – thanks to the improved interface users have much clearer information about exactly when things are synchronizing and which notebooks are stored offline. Moreover, offline notebooks can now sync over 3G, though you can still limit to do the syncing when in a WiFi hotspot. If you’re on an unlimited data plan, this is very handy. Otherwise, I would suggest you set this option to “OFF” as it may incur carrier fees. If you recall, offline note syncing is one of those features reserved for Premium users only – hence I suggest upgrading the service, if you still haven’t done so.
- Improved searching within Chinese, Japanese and Korean language notes.
Additionally, Evernote says there are also a bunch of improvements for editing and appending text, as well as a slew of bug fixes…
