Samsung bada SDK exits beta!

Samsung is out with the final version of the bada SDK! The v1.0.0 awaits all interested companies and individuals at the bada Developer site along with the choice of language pack.

In addition to all the documents and tools, the SDK also includes Remote Test Laboratory (RTL), allowing developers to test their application(s) onto a real-world device at a remote site. This feature is still in beta and supports multiple languages like English, French, German, Dutch, Italian, Korean, Polish, Portuguese, Spanish and Turkish.

Now the question on everyone’s mind is – will developers jump on board? Honestly, I don’t think that will happen, at least not on the iScale. The first bada-powered device, Samsung Wave, is definitely a great phone, but it doesn’t have that sexy charm the iPhone or some Android devices have, despite sporting that Super AMOLED touchscreen, 1GHz CPU and a whole lot more.

Nevertheless, we’ll definitely keep our eyes wide open for any news coming out from the bada community. Stay tuned…
