Windows Phone-powered LG C900 to launch internationally starting September 28th?

Bluetooth SIG published the testing documentation for the LG C900, a Windows Phone handset thought to be headed to AT&T. Surprisingly intermixed within the minutiae of the Bluetooth profile information is LG’s tentative launch date for this Windows Phone handset. According to the documentation, LG has pegged the C-900 handset for an official debut sometime “around” September 28th.

This early date is problematic for an AT&T launch of the LG C-900 as a Microsoft executive recently let slip that Windows Phone was being prepped for a November debut in the US. Though a tad on the early side for a US roll out, this September date is perfect for the European launch which is expected to begin in October.

Looking closely, the Bluetooth SIG documentation also reveals the presence of three variants of the C900 handset, including the LG-C900N, LG-C900k, and LG-C900B. It also notes that the LG C900 will be available in Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, and South America. These details suggest that LG may be manufacturing several variants of this landscape slider; one of which may be headed to Europe in late September and another which may drop in November on AT&T. Sounds reasonable, no?
