Fido, the other GSM carrier in Canada, just boosted its offering by adding two neat devices.
The first is Nokia E62, a 2.5G WLAN-less version of the popular E61 business smartphone. That should bring some affordable Symbian S60 love in the country.
The other device is the midrange clamshell device – Sony Ericsson Z710i, a fairly decent device, sporting the solid 2 MP camera and Bluetooth.
Finally the pricing. The Nokia E62 will be sold for about $170 (200 CAD), and Sony Ericsson for about $64 (75 CAD). The bad thing is that both devices require a way-too-long 3 year contract. And as Engadget guys said it – thank goodness for early upgrades.
