
Rogers has already gone all official about carrying the Samsung Galaxy Tab, but it looks like Bell will be keeping them company. I just got word from Bell Mobility PR that though they haven’t announced dates or pricing, they’re confirming that they’ll carry the Android 2.2 tablet at some point. Telus has remained tight-lipped on the subject, but it wouldn’t be a stretch to see them offer it eventually as well. Although I’m not holding my breath, it would be cool if Wind picked up the Samsung Galaxy Tab; why not, T-Mobile’s AWS version would work fine with Wind’s network.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab is a 7″ Android tablet launched last week, and comes with a rear-facing 3 megapixel camera, a front-facing 1.3 megapixel camera for video chat, 1024 x 600 capacitive touchscreen, 1GHz Hummingbird processor, Wi-Fi b/g/n, GPS, and 3G. 16 GB and 32 GB versions will be available, and with the built-in keyboard and use of either standard headphones or Bluetooth, it’ll be able to make phone calls just fine. Obviously the added screen size and Flash support will make it a solid choice for mobile multimedia
