
Please note that we have nothing against citizens of Farmington Hills, Michigan, but somehow we expected the BlackBerry maker to hit Manhattan with its first “authorized” store. The new store provides users with “the most comprehensive offering of BlackBerry products and services,” and is run by Wireless Giant, a chain founded in 1996. Potential buyers can pick any BlackBerry plan from the country’s big four carriers, including AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile and Verizon. As far as we can see from the images, RIM’s first store doesn’t actually make us wanna book the tickets for the first flight. Still if you’re in the neighborhood, say hello in our name…
