Grindr — which is the world’s largest all-male mobile networking service — is going for the iPad users to “take the Grindr experience to the next level.” The application is made to take advantage of iPad’s large touchscreen, making navigation around the app easier. Moreover, images of Grindr users are bigger and the information in user profiles is listed in much larger type.

Just as with other versions, Grindr for iPad takes advantage of location-based technologies to allow users to locate gay, bi or curious men nearby, view profiles and photos, and instantly connect via chat…

Grindr for iPad is available in two flavors – the free and X(tra) version, with latter being ad-free and featuring more user profiles — and could be yours for $2.99/month.

Finally in addition to iPad, Grindr also has its iPhone/iPod Touch app and will be soon available for select BlackBerry models, including the Curve 8300, Curve 8310, Curve 8320, Curve 8330, Curve 8330m, Curve 8350i, Curve 8520, Curve 8530, Curve 8900, Bold 9000, Tour 9630, Bold 9650 and Bold 9700.
