
Two month after the initial app launch, FileMaker is out with an updated version (1.1) of FileMaker Go for iPhone and FileMaker Go for iPad, allowing users to even better work with FileMaker Pro databases on their iDevices. Here’s what’s new:
- Ability to produce PDFs directly from FileMaker Go and either save the file on a mobile device or email it. Useful for distributing reports and creating invoices.
- Ability to save a copy of a complete database and email it directly from the application, allowing iPhone and iPad users to exchange databases from their devices without needing to dock with a desktop or laptop.
- Support for adding photos in databases – you can either capture a new photo or use an existing one from from your photo gallery.
- Ability to import records from local or hosted FileMaker databases using script steps.
