Sprint Announces Sanyo Vero for Only $10

Sprint is still serving up low-end phones with its latest, the Sanyo Vero. Many folks don’t need all the flash and pizzazz of a fancy smartphone like the carrier’s HTC EVO 4G or the Samsung Epic 4G – some just need a phone that makes calls and does text messages with a few extras here and there.

The Sanyo Vero has a 2.4-inch QVGA display with 1.3-inch glow-thru OLED sub-display and a 1.3MP camera. The phone is also rated at 5.2 hours of talk time, which isn’t so bad, but one would have expected more from a basic phone since lots of smartphones these days get well over six or seven hours of talk time.
