A rather plain, but informative list of specifications has leaked for the HTC Trophy, a Windows Phone we’ve seen live as well as in the Global Certification Forum. It’s not quite the Windows Mobile 6.5 Trophy we saw back in December with a 3″ VGA display, and QWERTY keyboard, but rather something much higher-end, perhaps accounting for the code-name “Sparks” being thrown around. Whatever it’s called, HTC’s premiere Windows Phone will have a 3.8″ WVGA touchscreen, 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, 1GHz processor, 576 MB of RAM, 7.2 Mbps HSPA 3G, Wi-Fi b/g/n, aGPS, motion sensor, digital compass, and lots of other stuff.
These specs are pretty good, and would place the Trophy just shy of top-of-the-line, a tier which will be handled by HTC’s HD7. Similarly, LG will have a wide selection of Windows Phones to chose from, ranging from the upper-end E900 to the more modest C900. Samsung may only be bringing the Cetus to the party, but with a 4″ (Super?) AMOLED screen, it’s probably all they need for now.
We only really know that Vodafone will be picking up the HTC 7 Trophy, but odds are it will find its way to most major carriers when Windows Phone 7 launches this fall.
