Sprint was slated to push the Samsung Epic 4G bug fix that would have solved most of the phone’s woes last week, but was held up. The update promises to fix 3G upload speeds, which has been seemingly capped at a measly 150kbps, as well as Wi-Fi battery drain issues and e-mail lag. It’s also supposed to fix the issue with downloading MP3 files from Amazon over 4G.
The update should be pushed out to handsets throughout the course of the day and the following days. However, if you’re impatient as we are, you can also grab the update manually by going into the phone’s settings and checking for the update yourself.
Let us know how it goes and if you run into any issues.
