Samsung has delayed its unveiling of the new Galaxy Tab in South Korea. The new Android tablet would have been announced to the media on October 14, but Samsung is delaying the event “to equip the device with better localized applications for the domestic market.”
It must be a huge bummer for the folks in South Korea, especially since it’s home to Samsung. And perhaps even more so that we’ve already had our hands on this beast at IFA in Berlin, and at Samsung’s press event in New York City.
However, it’s not too long a delay, according to Samsung. The event will only get pushed another week or two, which means that the wait wouldn’t have to be much longer and an actual launch in South Korea may even happen sooner.
