If you’re on MetroPCS and are looking for a solid mid-range messaging device, you may want to check out the newly-announced Samsung Freeform II.

According to Samsung, the new Freeform II for MetroPCS includes:

Yeah, I can’t be too excited about this one but if you’re in the market for this type of device, the Freeform II should have your back.

One MetroPCS phone I’m really looking forward to is the Samsung Craft, the company’s first 4G phone with Long-Term Evolution capabilities.

The Samsung Craft isn’t exactly a smartphone monster, as it packs a 3.3-inch AMOLED screen and a 3.2-megapixel camera, but I’m looking forward to seeing how fast the MetroPCS network can be. It will be particularly interesting to see how it matches up against the upcoming Verizon 4G LTE network, which is expected to hit 39 cities by the end of the year.
