Motorola were kind enough to send me an email just now, informing me that the Motorola V8 Luxury is available at Phones4U (one of the well-known high-street retailers in the UK)….
Obviously we’ve known about the V8 for quite some time, but it’s interesting to see some direct marketing email supporting it – so I became a ‘click-through’ victim and followed the link….
Delving in to the Phones4U website that the email links to, it would appear you have to be signed up to an Orange 18-month ‘Dolphin’ contract to get the handset for free. That being the case, I decided to check out the SIM-free price over at Expansys – turns out it’s a wallet-stretching £474.95 (as of 18/1/08). Crumbs!
